Have you ever decided to make any New Year’s resolutions and always find them hard to stick to?

Everyone else seems to be able to stick to their goals, but not me. Why? Another year passes by and I’m still stuck in the same rat race. I want to escape the stress that’s chasing me – what should I do?

My name’s Doctor Annika and I work with eradicating stress issues. My mentoring client, Monika, used to say the same thing. Is it possible to get rid of ALL my stress? Thankfully for Monika, I helped her find the answer. She’s a middle manager and felt squeezed from every corner of life. Even though, last year on New Year’s Eve, she promised herself she was going to reduce her stress. She told herself ‘next year was going to be different.

Let me share a technique that I showed Monika. I call it the triangle of calm.

By the way, at the top of this website, there is a link where you can grab my free de-stress tips. It’s some really great material to help you massively reduce stress in your life.

Anyway, back to Monika’s story…

She came to me for help because she was stuck in this rat race (just like a lot of people are). She couldn’t figure out how she could escape. She was searching for help all over the internet and read a couple of books.

She attended a couple of weekend challenges to get out of her overwhelming situation. It was frustrating. They had all these fancy names which just made Monika feel even more distressed. Alone with no one to help or guide her.

There was a constant lack of ‘follow up’ and ‘virtual hand holding’ in these so called solutions she found.

She was tired of paying for things that didn’t work.

She knew there was a missing piece but she couldn’t figure out what it was that was missing. When I told her about my program, and how we look at all three pieces you need to reduce stress to a minimum, you’ll never guess what she did…

She burst out in laughter.

She laughed and laughed so I asked her what was so funny and she replied with laughter once again. Of course, you’ve got to look at the big picture. Why didn’t I think of that in the first place ?

That was the missing piece she’d been looking for. So, we looked at the triangle of calm. A triangle with two standing legs on a platform, so to speak.

Step One: Your Mind

The mindset. Who you are and how you see the world. Everything you do stems from your mindset. Here is where you find your driving forces!

Step Two: Physical Health

This entails how you look after your body. What foods are you eating, is your sleep optimal and are you getting enough exercise in? This part is so important because it’s where you get your energy to accomplish the changes you’ve decided to achieve in the first step.

Once you take action on the above two steps, it’s time to look at the third and last step.

Step Three: Life Around You

The platform on which your body and mind are standing on. The two first legs in this triangle is you and you’re standing on the baseline, the platform of life. The platform is your job, your money situation, your professional and personal network, your family and loved ones.

These are all the important areas that heavily affect your stress situation. You need to take this seriously if you want to handle your stress once and for all. It’s where a lot of people get messed up. They don’t take their situation seriously.

So Monika started the process three months ago and she’s now very happy to be able to make a New Year’s promise because she’s already on her way. She’s started the process and she knows it works. Why? Because she understands her mindset will help her through the toughest parts of her life.

And by taking care of her body, this has given her the motivation and energy to achieve her goals of reducing stress and sticking to her New Year’s Promise.

So when you begin taking action on the above steps in the right order, and for the right reason, it’s possible to get out of stress and overwhelm. But you need to look at all three issues.

-Your mindset

-Your health

-The life around you must support the results you want.

And many people fail because they don’t get the professional help they need.
