Life can sometimes feel like a constant rat race with the feeling of having no idea how you’re going to get out of it.

Today, I want to share a story of how you can escape the rat race. It’s a story of how I escaped it by finally seeing the bigger picture. But before I share my own story, let me tell you why I don’t talk about my clients all the time like you’d expect me to do…

I promise my clients that I’ll never share their stories.

You see I’m a doctor. I’ve being working with patients all my life. To me, it’s very important that you don’t talk about your patients to other people. Some of the clients I work with (most are successful leaders) never want to share their personal stories in public.

We have an agreement. I want them to feel secure when talking with me. Every now and again, yes, I will talk about some of my best client success stories – but only if they allow me to.

Now, onto my story…

You’re probably wondering why I want to talk about my own story when it comes to stress. I’m the doctor right? So you’d think I would be the one to cure other people. it’s not always been like that though…

I used to work in a health clinic full time. I had my kids to look after at home. I had so much to do and no control over my agenda. Everybody else was making setting all my appointments for me. I had no control. I felt out of control. So much to do in such little time.

I was getting more and more depressed. My job was getting less and less fun. So many of my clients today are saying the same thing. ‘I love my job, but it’s not fun anymore’.

So I invested in books and courses but everything felt like a quick fix.

None of this worked as you would have imagined….

So I decided to take a deeper look at my situation being the Doctor I am.

And here’s what I realized….

You have to look at the bigger picture in life.

First you have to work on your mindset.

Second you have to take care of your body.

These all come first. They’re what I call ‘the basics in life’.

Once you have these under control, you can look outside yourself and that is base, all the things like your job and lifestyle. My clients today all follow a similar system to live a stress free lifestyle.

They have a positive mindset. They have energy from their body and they know what needs to change outside in their base. Keep in mind that the things you need to change are going to be different than the things I need to change.

‘It took a couple of years for me to get my life under control but it was worth every single step’

I now live a prosperous and happy life with my family.
