My Story

Hi, I’m Dr. Annika Sorensen from Sweden.

I have been a medical doctor for more than 30 years. I have dedicated my working life to helping those with medical and mental health problems.

Over the years, it has been clear that my patients could have prevented their diseases if they had managed their stress levels. 

It comes as a surprise that there is a vast connection between being mentally and physically well. And that it has massive impacts on every part of our lives.

Being a medical doctor can be highly stressful. I have been juggling work and home life with my three daughters, and after suffering from stress myself for many years… I decided that there had to be a better way for me and others in similar leadership positions.

That’s when ASKDRANNIKA WAS BORN.

If I could rebalance my own life with stress management skills and a new perspective, that means others can too.

My mission is to help people avoid becoming ill from stress and overload. I help my clients find their specific needs to get back on track.

Manage your stress levels and open up more time in your day. Deal with the daily hurdles we all face with ease.

Manage your stress levels and sleep, eat, and make better choices for yourself. Stress in itself has a mental and physical effect on our bodies. Keeping your stress levels down helps keep you healthy in body, mind, and soul.

My Approach

Stress has had a negative stigma attached to it for a long time. A lot of people ignore it until it becomes too late.

My approach is to make stress a more accessible subject in the workplace and bring some lighthearted interaction through my workshops and talks.

We all suffer from stress and stressful situations in all aspects of our life. There is nothing that we can do to totally get rid of it.

I don’t like to say that you will be “stress-free”, that’s impossible.

However, it is possible to manage your stress levels so that you’re a happier, healthier person in every part of your life.
